Rattlesnake master

Scientific Name: Eryngium yuccifolium

Other Common Names: button snakeroot, yucca-leaf eryngo, corn snakeroot, water-eryngo, rattlesnake flag, rattlesnake weed

Interesting Characteristic: The American Indians and pioneers had many medicinal uses from the roots of this plant. It was used to treat bladder problems, muscular pain, kidney trouble, and poisonous snakebites.
