Career: Piotr ("Peter") Dabrowski earned his bachelor's degree in economics from Illinois Wesleyan University, where he played varsity football, co-captained the club volleyball team, founded the rock-climbing club and co-founded the Sexual Assault and Awareness Program. It was on the coldest day of the year that he first visited St. Olaf to interview for the job of Admissions Counselor. "I was miserable, but then I walked into Buntrock Commons and became overwhelmed by the warmth of the community and the great atmosphere the students created." Today, he says, "I am now home, living in Northfield and working for the best college there is."
Personal: Peter's family moved to the United States from Poland on the Fourth of July when he was 4 years old. He was raised in Chicago and is a huge Bears fan. After graduating from college he traveled the country, living in four different cities, but says he has found a home in Northfield. Peter enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, surfing in Lake Superior and enjoying the company of his friends.
