| Mitch Lehn ’92, Denver, CO |
Hockey is a thread that has always connected Mitch to St. Olaf. The letter-winner says his fondest student memories revolve around a quad he shared with three other hockey players in the basement of Mellby. And it’s the hockey team that helps keep him connected to St. Olaf now. He is also active with the Denver alumni group. His advice to current students is, “Work to broaden your scope of activities and search for areas outside of your comfort zone.” A psychology major, Mitch says that St. Olaf gave him broad-scope skills not only to succeed in business but to serve the community. Mitch has participated in Denver’s Day of Service project and has worked in human resources for General Motors, Eaton Corporation and Qwest. Currently Mitch is vice-president for human resources at US Foodservice. While serving on the alumni board, Mitch hopes to increase awareness of St. Olaf in the Denver area through events and information sharing. |
