St. Olaf arranged for a heated private tent at Wollman Rink in Central Park on Jan. 17, 2008. Oles gathered for ice skating and hot chocolate on a snowy winter's night.

Two St. Olaf student groups that were in New York for off-campus study joined New York Ole alums. These student groups included a program dedicated to learning about education in the metro area and a class focused on art throughout the five boroughs.
