Syttende Mai Parade in Ballard, WA
Saturday, May 17, 2008

Show your St. Olaf pride and march with other Oles in the Syttende Mai Parade in Ballard!

Norwegian Constitution Day or "grunnlovsdag" (commonly known as "Syttende Mai" or the 17th of May) is a celebration of the Norwegian constitution signing in 1814. Puget Sound Oles will gather to celebrate St. Olaf's Norwegian heritage by marching together. Spread the word and bring your friends and family! We encourage children to join us!

After the parade you can meet fellow Oles (21 and over) for an informal social gathering at Hazlewood, 2311 NW Market St., near 24th.
