  3. Arrival and Departure Information

Chicago has two major airports, O'Hare International Airport and Midway Airport Airport Info. Most of you who will be flying in from overseas will be arriving at O'Hare. Midway is closer to campus, but there is convenient public transportation from either airport to the campus.

    Flying into O'Hare

Once you land at O'Hare, follow the signs to "Ground Transportation - Trains to City (CTA)." The station is located near terminal 3. There, purchase a reloadable farecard. Five dollars will cover your trip to campus and your return trip to the airport. You will board a Blue line train headed downtown. Ride for about 45 minutes, and get off at Jackson. At Jackson, transfer to a Red line train headed south to 95th Street. Ride another 30 minutes to 95th Street, the end of the line. It is six blocks from the 95th Street Station to the campus. For most of the day we will have a shuttle running between the campus and the 95th street stop. However, if you have an exceptionally early or late arrival, let us know and we will arrange to pick you up at the airport.
