First Announcement

We have the pleasure to inform you that we are organizing a workshop on set theory and applications to topology and real analysis. This continues a tradition of organizing such workshops in Poland. The previous workshops were held in Warsaw, Katowice, Szklarska Poreba, Łodz and Wiezyca.

The conference will be held from 17 - 19 June (from Thursday morning to Saturday evening) in a place near Gdansk. Participants are expected to arrive on Wednesday, June, 16th.

The main topics are Set Theory, Set-theoretical topology, Set-theoretical Analysis.

We expect the following people to come: M. Balcerzak, T. Bartoszynski, A. Blaszczyk, J.B. Brown, J. Cichon, K. Ciesielski, U. Darji, Z. Grande, P. Humke, A. Krawczyk, M. Laczkovich, W. Marciszewski, C. Weil, B. Weglorz, W. Wilczynski, P. Zakrzewski.

The conference fee is $120 (US Dollars), (about 400 Zloties). We provide lodging from Wednesday night to Saturday night, meals (breakfasts, lunches and dinners, coffee) and transportation if necessary.

Those attending the Real Analysis Exchange Symposium in Łodz on June, 21-26, will have a chance to see the old city of Gdansk on Sunday and then catch the train to Łodz at 5:05pm (at 10pm in Łodz). Tickets for this train can be purchased upon arrival in Gdansk.
