2003: Graduated from St. Olaf College... St. Olaf won four MIAC championships during his time as a player - three regular season and a playoffs.

Matt Karnas is in his seventh season as assistant baseball coach at St. Olaf in 2013-14.

Karnas graduated from St. Olaf in 2003 with a degree in mathematics and economics. He played on the 2001, 2002 MIAC championship teams and was a co-captain of the 2003 MIAC Playoff Championship team.

Karnas received his M.A. in management from Concordia University-St. Paul in 2011.

Prior to coming back to St. Olaf in 2008, Karnas coached at Augsburg College in 2007. In 2007 and 2008 Karnas coached the Richfield American Legion team, compiling a 60-24 record and coaching the team to both the Gopher Classic championship and a state tournament berth in 2008.

Karnas lives in Minneapolis with his wife Sarah and son Leo.
