| THE RUUD FILE 2004: Graduated from St. Olaf... Is in top five in almost every career statistical category... Was the MIAC's pitcher of the year in 2002... Compiled a 29-12 career record... Led St. Olaf to a conference title as a sophomore and a tournament title and NCAA appearance as a junior... Was a four-time All-MIAC pick. 2005: Was a late-summer sign of the St. Paul Saints... Made an emergency start for the club and earned a complete game win and a spot on the roster for the remaining of the season. 2006: (St. Paul Saints - American Association) - Went 8-6 with a 3.75 ERA... Was tops on the team in innings (132.0) and had 96 strikeouts. 2007: Went 11-3 with career-bests in innings (138.2), strikeouts (110), walks (23) and ERA (3.63). 2008: Compiled a career-best 12-4 record... Was an American Association All-Star... (Atlantic City - CanAm League) - Pitched three times for Atlantic City on loan from Saints... Went 1-1 in three starts 2009: Went 8-4 with a 3.69 ERA in 20 appearances... Drew 19 starts... His eight wins matched a team lead and his 107.1 innings ranked second... Threw one complete game shutout. 2010: Became associate pastor at Bethel Lutheran Church in Northfield... Pitched for the Class B Dundas Dukes amateur team... Helped team to runner up finish at state tournament... Was 15-2 with a 1.22 ERA in 132.2 innings... Had 135 strikeouts and 17 walks... Limited opponents to a .169 average... Had four shutouts as a part of seven complete games. 2011: Appeared in 33 games, starting 32 for Dundas…led team in hitting at .350…was 42-for-120 with 17 runs scored, four doubles, and two triples…had .424 on-base percentage and was 4-for-5 in stolen bases…had a 1.59 ERA in 17 innings…had one save…held opponents to .217 average. 2013: Rejoined St. Olaf baseball coaching staff.

Charlie Ruud is in his fifth season at St. Olaf for the 2012-13 year as an assistant coach. He assisted from 2006-08 before rejoining the staff in 2012.
