2003: Graduated from St. Olaf College with B.A., Psychology.
2003-04: Played two seasons in L.A. Dodgers' organization.
2004: Became Assistant AD and Sports Information Director at St. Olaf.
2008: Received M.A., Athletics Administration, Univ. of St. Thomas.
2009: Joined women's basketball staff.
Mike Ludwig is in his fifth season as an assistant coach in 2013-14. He works primarily with the post players and is the program's out-state recruiting coordinator.

Ludwig was a four-time team MVP of the St. Olaf men's team from 1999-2003. He was a three-time All-MIAC pick, two-time captain, led the league in scoring as a sophomore and finished second all-time at St. Olaf in career points (1,635).

He also played baseball at St. Olaf, where he helped St. Olaf to three regular season and one MIAC playoff championship. Ludwig was an all-region and all-conference pick as a senior. He was a 37th-round draft pick in the MLB draft and spent two seasons playing in the Los Angeles Dodgers' farm system before returning to St. Olaf in 2004.

Ludwig is also the school's assistant athletic director and sports information director (Ludwig's Sports Information Bio).

Ludwig resides in Northfield.
