John Davis (Sr., Edina, Minn.) returned two interceptions for touchdowns and recovered a fumble to lead St. Olaf to a 44-14 win over Carleton College in Northfield Saturday.
The win keeps St. Olaf (3-0 MIAC, 5-0) undefeated, and gives the Oles just their eighth 5-0 start in school history.
Jason Wilsey (Sr., Columbia Heights, Minn.) threw for 215 yards, going 15-for-25 with three touchdowns, and Horace Gant (So., Pensacola, Fla./Pine Forest) had five receptions for 93 yards and a score to spark the St. Olaf offense.

Jay Higgins (So., Lakeland, Minn./Stillwater) caught a 60-yard touchdown later in the first quarter and Jeremy Lund (Jr., Mankato, Minn./West) had a 22-yard touchdown reception in the second.
The Knights' Matt Frank (Fy, Caledonia, Minn.) caught a 44-yard touchdown with 20 seconds left in the first half to cut the lead to 23-7. Carleton got within 30-14 after Wade Thompson (Jr., Peterson, Minn./Rushford-Peterson) scored on a 7-yard sweep with 5:12 to play in the third. Davis then intercepted his second Darren Caspers' (Jr., Bemidji, Minn.) pass, at the Carleton one yard line, and scored to give St. Olaf a 37-14 advantage.
Bobby Andrade (Jr., Bell Gardens, Calif) rushed for 44 yards on four carries, including a 20-yard touchdown.
The Knights outgained the Oles 464-417 and held a 9:26 advantage in time of possession, but had five turnovers in the loss. St. Olaf is now +11 in turnover margin this fall.
