Luke Benoit, a three-time NCAA Division III All-America golfer at Gustavus, is in his second season as head women's golf coach at St. Olaf.
Benoit was named Gustavus' Male Athlete of the Year after finishing second at the NCAA Division III Championships in 2004.
After finishing at Gustavus, Benoit played professionally on the Dakotas and Hooters Tours. His best finish was second at the South Dakota Open where he shot 64-74-66 (-12).
Since 2005, Benoit has worked as an assistant professional the Summit Golf Club in Cannon Falls, Minn.
