1990: Graduated from the University of St. Thomas.
1991: Graduate Assistant for Terry Skrypek and was the Head JV Coach and Varsity Goalie Coach at St. Thoms.
2009: Took assistant coaching job at St. Olaf



After being away for two seasons from coaching college women’s hockey, Kevin returns to begin his first year with the St. Olaf program as a part-time assistant coach.  His main responsibility will be working with the goalies and offering general guidance and tips to the entire roster. 

Kevin has a long and very successful record as a head coach.  From coaching the Burnsville and Mounds View High School boys to his nine year reign as the Head Women’s Coach at St. Thomas University.  During that stretch Kevin compiled a 143-75-13 record and won two MIAC Conference Champioships. 

As a player he was the winning goaltender on the 1985 State Championship team for Burnsville High School after which he played a full season for the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL. Kevin played from 1987-90 at the University of St. Thomas where he was All-Conference his final two seasons and won three conference titles. Kevin returned to St. Thomas in 1991 as a Graduate Assistant for Terry Skrypek and was the Head JV Coach and Varsity Goalie Coach.  
 
In addition to helping the Oles this year, Kevin just finished his fifth season as a hockey analyst for FSN North, covering the Minnesota Wild, Minnesota Gophers and local high school hockey.  He also works at Canterbury Park.
