St. Olaf is located in Northfield, Minnesota, approximately 35 miles south of the Twin Cities.

By AirTake Interstate 494 West and exit onto Interstate 35W South. This will eventually merge with Interstate 35E to become Interstate 35 South. From there follow the driving directions outlined below.
By CarFrom Interstate 35 (the nearest four-lane thoroughfare), take Exit 69 to Highway 19 East. The main entrance to the campus is five miles east of the interstate via Highway 19; look for a stone marker on your left as you enter Northfield city limits. You also may reach the campus via St. Olaf Avenue, which intersects with Highway 3 in Northfield.
By TrainThe nearest Amtrak station is midway between Minneapolis and St. Paul. Because most trains arrive very late at night or very early in the morning, we suggest that you stay overnight at a hotel or motel near the station and come to campus the following day.
