Volleyball takes two, Smisek All-Tourney at CSC/HU

ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Olaf rallied for a a five-game victory over Bethany Lutheran College to complete a two-win final day at the Hamline/St. Kate's Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

The Oles (5-3, 0-0 MIAC), winners of five of their last six, beat Grinnell College in three games in the day's first match.

First year Kim Smisek (Northfield, Minn.) had a team- and career-best 22 kills in the five-game (24-30, 25-30, 30-20, 30-25, 15-12) triumph over BLC. Smisek was the Oles' lone representative on the six-player All-Tournament team.

Jess Levin had 15 kills to lead St. Olaf past Grinnell.

St. Olaf hosts the University of St. Thomas on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
