No. 11 Cobbers take Oles in three

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - No. 11 Concordia College-Moorhead overcame a 21-14 deficit in game one and rolled to a three-game volleyball win over the St. Olaf on Friday night.

Kim Smisek had a match-best 18 kills for her sixth straight double digit effort in the loss for the Oles (6-7, 1-4 MIAC).

Michelle Honek had 10 kills for the Cobbers (8-4, 3-1 MIAC), who hit .264 as a team.

The Oles raced to a 12-2 lead and had a two point advantage at 26-24 in game one. In game three, St. Olaf was within one, at 19-18, before the Cobbers' scored the final 11.

St. Olaf plays at Saint Mary's University on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
