25th-ranked volleyball cruises past Royals for 12th straight win

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Kim Smisek had 14 and Melissa Burch 11 kills as 25th-ranked St. Olaf cruised past Bethel University 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-14) in a MIAC volleyball match on Wednesday night at Skoglund Center.

Burch made only two errors in 15 attempts to hit .600 on the night as the Oles won for the 12th straight time. The winning streak is the longest since the 2001 team started 13-0.

Kelly Prunty added 46 set assists while Katie Wolfram and Paige Olson had nine kills each.

The Royals (7-12, 0-5 MIAC) were led by Nicole Wriedt's 12 kills and 30 sets assists from Betsy Naatjes.
