Olson's 17 kills lead Oles past Hamline

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Paige Olson had 17 kills to lead 25th-ranked St. Olaf to a four-set MIAC volleyball win over visiting Hamline on Wednesday night, giving the Oles their 14th straight victory.

Olson's 17 terminations matched a career-high and helped St. Olaf (22-2, 6-1 MIAC) keep pace in the MIAC race.

Frances Xin, Katie Wolfram had 12 and Melissa Burch 11 kills for the Oles, who rallied to win the final two sets after dropping the second 25-21. Kelly Prunty added 57 assists and five aces while Alyssa Williams had 25 digs.

Tasha Simmons had 13 kills to lead Hamline (10-12, 0-7 MIAC).

St. Olaf is off until next Wednesday's battle at 18th-ranked Concordia College-Moorhead.
