Volleyball wraps up regular season with four-set win over Carleton

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Kim Smisek had 17 kills to lead four St. Olaf players in double digits for kills in the 22nd-ranked Oles' four-set (25-15, 25-21, 28-30, 25-21) win over host Carleton on Saturday in the team's final regular season match.

Katie Wolfram and Paige Olson added 13 and Melissa Burch 10 kills for the Oles, who hit .577 in the set one win and .233 in the decisive fourth. Olson hit .684, collecting her 13 kills on 19 attempts with no errors.

Carleton (13-11, 3-8 MIAC) was led by Kelly Lovett's 10 kills.

St. Olaf (25-3, 9-2 MIAC) will host the sixth seed, Saint Mary's University, on Tuesday in the first round of the MIAC Playoffs. Tickets, priced at $7 for adults and $3 for students, will be available at the door. St. Olaf passes/IDs will not be honored at the game per MIAC policy.
