Men's soccer Oles fall to Macalester 1-0

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Macalester College defeated St. Olaf 1-0 on Saturday in a MIAC men's soccer match at Rolf Mellby Field.

After a scoreless first half, the Scots' Nate Juergens scored the game's first and only goal, unassisted, at 48:34.

Macalester held an advantage in shots (11-5), but only had four on goal, while St. Olaf had three.

The Oles' Harry Ullmann and the Scots' Matt Weyer each had three saves.

St. Olaf (5-5-5, 2-2-4 MIAC) plays UW-Superior on Wednesday in a non-conference match at Rolf Mellby Field.
