Women's hockey sweeps Concordia

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Jessica Ptachick made 40 saves to lead St. Olaf to a 5-0 MIAC women's hockey win over Concordia College-Moorhead on Saturday at the Northfield Ice Arena.
The Oles' (2-6-0, 2-2-0 MIAC) Kristen Latta scored the first goal of the game on the power play at 16:29.
Another goal was scored on the power play in the second period by Alex Meyer at 14:10. Meghan Stumpf added another goal in the second period at 17:23 on a feed from Alex Meyer to make the score 3-0.
Another goal was added on the power play by Nicole Stumpf at 05:17 of the third period. At 11:39 Margot Fleming scored a goal to bring the final score to 5-0.
Concordia (4-4-1, 0-3-1 MIAC) outshot St. Olaf 40-23.
The Oles play next at UW-River Falls in a non-conference game on Tuesday.
