Cobbers defeat Oles 3-2 in overtime

MOORHEAD Minn. - The St. Olaf men's hockey team was defeated by Concordia-Moorhead 3-2, in a MIAC men's hockey game on Saturday night.
Concordia (2-5-1/1-2-1)held a slight advantage in shots (32-27) and the Cobber's goaltender Kelly Andrew made 25 saves to earn the win. In goal for St. Olaf was Nick Krauss with 29 saves.
St. Olaf (2-4-2/0-2-2)got off to a good start with a goal on the power play by Caleb Harrison at 7:29. Concordia came back in the second period with a goal from Pat Deitz at 8:37.
Charlie Raskob scored a goal at 11:00 of the second to raise the Oles up 2-1. Aaron Wheeler scored a goal on the power play at 7:23 of the third to even the score and take the game into overtime.
Brian Kang scored for the Cobbers in the first 13 seconds of overtime to seal the win for Concordia 3-2.
The Oles play against Lake Forest College next weekend in a pair of non-conference home games.
