Men's hockey takes care of Lake Forest in series opener

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Olaf scored a 6-0 non-conference men's hockey win over visiting Lake Forest College on Friday night at Northfield Ice Arena in the first of a two-game series.

Derek Grogan and Peter Rohn scored two goals each for the Oles (3-4-2), who raced to a 4-0 lead in the first period. Grogan scored twice in the frame and Rohn once.

Justin Thomas and Charlie Raskob had a pair of assists each.

The teams meet tomorrow in the series finale at 2 p.m.
