Euerle sparks Oles' second half spurt, win over Auggies

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Terin Euerle had all of her game-best 18 points in the second half as St. Olaf overcame an 18-point halftime deficit, using a 37-6 run to start the second half, to defeat Augsburg College 75-69 on Monday at Skoglund Center.
Euerle added 11 rebounds and went 6-for-7 from the field and 6-for-8 from the line in the second half for the Oles (6-3, 3-3 MIAC), who were 19-for-31 from the field in the final 20 minutes.
Augsburg was led by Brittany Dyshaw's 18 points and 14 from Tracee Schrank.
The Auggies scored the game's first seven points and closed the opening half on a 21-6 rally.
St. Olaf had a 13-point lead with 4:51 left, but Augsburg didn't go quietly. The Auggies closed the gap to one, at 69-68 with 46 seconds left, before Euerle converted a three-point play on the ensuing possession.
Erin Haglund added 11 points and Kirstee Rotty eight and seven rebounds for the Oles in the win.
St. Olaf hosts Saint Mary's University on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
