Fong gets 27 as Oles roll past Bethel

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Bobby Fong had 27 points and Stu Neville 15 as St. Olaf rolled past Bethel, 71-53, in a MIAC men's basketball game on Monday night at the Robertson Center.
Fong went 4-for-6 from the arc and 5-for-5 from the line and added seven rebounds and three assists in the win. Neville was 7-for-10 from the field while Tucker Sheley added 12 points.
The Oles jumped to a 12-0 lead and never trailed. Bethel was within four near the end of the first half and in the opening minute of the second, but St. Olaf responded with a 13-2 run and the lead was never again in question.
Greg Meyer had 14 points off the bench to lead the Royals.
The win is the Oles' (10-4, 5-4 MIAC) fourth straight.
St. Olaf plays at Concordia College-Moorhead on Wednesday night.
