Raney, Wolter help Oles top Auggies

MINNEAPOLIS - Elise Raney had 16 points and 13 rebounds and Mackenzie Wolter a game-best 17 points as the St. Olaf women's basketball team topped Augsburg College 79-58 on Wednesday night at Si Melby Hall.

Wolter went 4-for-6 from the arc as St. Olaf (10-10, 7-10 MIAC) went on a 9-0 run in the final minutes of the first half on the way to the win.

Tracee Schrank had 14 points and Nikki Borkhuis 10 for the Auggies (5-15, 4-13 MIAC) in the defeat.

Terin Euerle added 10 points while Erin Haglund and Kirstee Rotty had eight each for St. Olaf, which stopped a three-game losing skid with the victory.
