Krauss sparks 2-2 tie with 41-save night

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. - Nick Krauss made 41 saves, including a combined 17 in the third period and overtime, to help St. Olaf to a 2-2 tie with the University of St. Thomas on Friday night.

St. Olaf had goals from Ross Trousdale and Austin Wetmore and two assists each from Isak Tranvik and Peter Rohn in the draw. The scores each came in the third period as the Oles (9-7-4, 3-4-4 MIAC) held a brief 2-1 lead.

UST (11-9-2, 6-5-2 MIAC) had an unassisted goal from Riley Horgan 59 seconds after Wetmore's goal to tie the game a 2-2.

The teams meet in Northfield for the series finale tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.
