Tommies take 5-2 game from Ole women

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Thomas defeated St. Olaf 5-2 in a MIAC women's hockey game on Friday night at Northfield Ice Arena.

The Tommies (9-6-2, 8-2-1 MIAC) raced to a 4-1 lead and had two goals each from Lauren Mumm and Korinne O'Connor in the victory.

St. Olaf closed the lead to 4-2 on a Tara Reyelts goal, but O'Connor's second score was an empty net tally to seal the win. Breanna Johnson scored the Oles' other goal.

The teams meet in Mendota Heights tomorrow in the series finale.
