Women's basketball outlasts Wildcats

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Mackenzie Wolter had 16 points and Elise Raney 12 as St. Olaf outlasted St. Catherine University 68-65 on Saturday afternoon at Skoglund Center.

Laura Kalbfell had a game-best 25 points to lead St. Catherine (4-18, 3-16 MIAC).

The Oles (12-11, 9-11 MIAC) led by six at the break but never led by more than eight in the second half. St. Kate's took a four-point lead midway through the second half before the Oles answered with an 11-0 run.

A Maddie Ehrich three-pointer gave St. Olaf a 68-61 lead with 1:44 left. The Oles then missed a front end and had a turnover on their next two possessions to give St. Catherine a chance.
