Auggies complete sweep of Ole men

MINNEAPOLIS - Augsburg College scored four unanswered goals in a 5-3 MIAC men's hockey win on Saturday night to complete a two-game sweep of visiting St. Olaf.

The Oles struck first with a Peter Rohn goal at 1:24 of the first. Augsburg then had four straight scores, including two by Tedd Falk, to open up a 4-1 lead.

Justin Thomas and Rohn scored goals in a 24-second spurt midway through the third period to get the Oles within a goal, but the Auggies added an empty-net goal in the final minute to seal the win.

Rohn finished with the two scores and an assist while Isak Tranvik had two assists in the loss for the Oles (9-10-4, 3-7-4 MIAC).

Falk had two goals and an assist for the Auggies (2-8-3, 6-6-2 MIAC) in the win.
