NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Alfred Jaryan had 17 points as St. Olaf came from behind to defeat Bethel 66-58 on Wednesday night at Skoglund Center to secure the fourth seed, at least, and a home game in the upcoming MIAC playoffs.
St. Olaf (17-7, 12-7 MIAC) will host the fifth or sixth seed, which is yet to be determined.
Jaryan was 4-for-5 from the arc as the Oles went 6-of-11 in the second half from long range.
Stu Neville added 13 points in the win for the Oles while Greg Meyer had 19 points to pace Bethel.
The Royals (6-18, 3-16 MIAC) led by as many as 10 in the first half before the Oles closed the frame on a 7-2 run. St. Olaf then opened the second half on a 15-4 rally and never again trailed.
