ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - Bethel University went on a an 11-2 run to close the game to defeat the visiting St. Olaf women's basketball team 55-45 on Wednesday night.

Scottie Moats had 16 points and nine rebounds to lead Bethel (14-10, 12-9 MIAC).

Mackenzie Wolter had 14 points and Maddie Ehrich 11 for St. Olaf (12-12, 9-12 MIAC) in the loss, which ended the Oles' chances at a playoff berth.

St. Olaf took a two-point lead on an Ehrich three-pointer with 6:37 left, but went 1-for-9 from the field the rest of the way.

Bethel held an edge at the line, going 18-for-24 while the Oles were only 3-for-6.
