NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's hockey team scored thrice in the final 8:05 to erase a 3-1 deficit and defeat Saint John's University 4-3 at Northfield Ice Arena on Friday night.

Peter Rohn's goal at 15:57 -- on assists from Austin Wetmore and Isak Tranvik -- broke a 3-3 tie to stop the Oles four-game winless (0-3-1) streak.

With the victory, St. Olaf (10-10-4, 4-7-4 MIAC) reached double-digit wins for the eighth time in the last nine seasons.

SJU (6-16-2, 5-8-2 MIAC) took its lead after scoring three unanswered goals, by Joe Harren, James Saintey and Justin Hochsprung. Hochsprung's goal came at 7:16 of the third.

The Oles responded with Austin Wetmore's score at 11:55. Jeff Harris followed with his goal at 15:04 to tie the game and set up Rohn's game-winner 43 seconds later.

The teams meet in the series finale tomorrow at the National Hockey Center in St. Cloud at 2 p.m.
