Softball gets MIAC sweep at Macalester

ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Olaf scored a 7-0 and 9-1 MIAC softball sweep of Macalester College on Saturday afternoon.

Game One: St. Olaf 7, Macalester 0
Natalee McNeff tossed a complete game one-hitter, striking out nine while walking two, as St. Olaf won the opener.

Cara Lemmon and Julie Fergus each went 3-for-4 and Katie Truax 2-for-3 with three RBIs for the Oles.

The Scots' only hit came in their first at bat in the game on an infield hit by Lily Alexander.

Game Two: St. Olaf 9, Macalester 1
Four St. Olaf (5-13, 2-4 MIAC) hitters had two hits in the game two win.

Katie Truax threw all five innings for the Oles, allowing three hits while striking out five in the win.
