Women's soccer defeats UW-River Falls 2-1

RIVER FALLS, Wis. - Dani Larson had a game-tying goal and assisted on Emma Crumley's game-winner as St. Olaf collected a 2-1 non-conference women's soccer win over host UW-River Falls on Thursday afternoon.

Crumley's game-winner came on a cross from the right side off of Larson's foot with 10:41 left.

Down 1-0 late in the first half, St. Olaf (1-0-0) tied the game on Larson's score with 3:37 left in the frame.

St. Olaf held a 14-8 advantage in shots, including a 8-4 edge in the second half.

Nora Forbes made three saves -- all in the first half -- to get the victory in net for the Oles.
