Rosenthal goal in second OT lifts Oles past NWC

ST. PAUL, Minn. - David Rosenthal scored in the second overtime, at 1:01:56, as the St. Olaf men's soccer team escaped with a 1-0 victory over Northwestern College on Thursday afternoon in the season opener for each school.

St. Olaf (1-0-0) had 14 shots on goal to the Eagles' three, but Northwestern's Eric Bocin made 13 saves to extend the game.

Rosenthal's tally was unassisted.
