Women's golf second at 19-team Georgianni Memorial

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - The St. Olaf women's golf team was two strokes off the winning pace to finish as runner up at UW-Eau Claire's Georgianni Memorial Invitational on Sunday.

St. Olaf collected the event's best day two score -- 326 (+34) -- at the par-73 Mill Run Golf Course. The Oles' Molly Erickson (80-80 -- 160, +15) was fourth overall and Molly Knutson (81-82 -- 163, +18) eighth to lead the way.

Vanessa Kleckner went 82-83 (165, +20) to finish 13th.

The Oles compete next at the Wartburg Fall Invitational on Saturday in Waverly, Iowa.
