Howard goals get Oles past Luther

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Lindsay Howard scored twice, including the game-winner with 7:30 left in the second overtime as St. Olaf upended Luther College 2-1 in a non-conference women's soccer game on Wednesday afternoon at Rolf Mellby Field.

The game-winner came on a feed from Catie Christoffel.

Howard's first goal tied the game. She took a pass from first year Dani Larson with just under 10 minutes left in the first half.

Luther took a 1-0 lead midway through the first frame on a goal from Kendra Ledel.

Howard's two goals give her 31 for her career, which ranks third all-time. She is three behind career leader Kelsey Watt '07.
