NORTHFIELD, Minn.- The St. Olaf men's soccer team won their third straight game to start the season by defeating Colorado College 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at Rolf Mellby Field.

Colorado College took an early 1-0 lead in the eighth minute with a goal from forward Daniel Wright. Wright's goal was the first surrendered by Oles goalie Harry Ulmann, after back-to-back 1-0 wins.

The Oles knotted the score at 1-1 before halftime, when David Rosenthal found Jake Stark with a centering pass. The goal was Stark's first of the young season.

In the second half, St. Olaf completed the comeback when midfielder Paul Benz also notched his first goal of the fall at 55:24. Benz' goal was assisted by fellow midfielder Blake Dressen.

The Oles return to action at 12 p.m. on Sunday, when they host UW-Platteville.
