NORTHFIELD, Minn.- Sean Legler and David Rosenthal scored as the St. Olaf men's soccer team topped UW-Platteville 2-0 Sunday afternoon at Rolf Mellby Field.

Legler, a senior midfielder, scored his first goal of the year to give the Oles the lead at 20:00. The goal was unassisted.

Rosenthal then doubled St. Olaf's lead by converting a penalty kick at 39:15. The sophomore forward has now scored three goals in the first four games of the season to lead the team.

The Pioneers out-shot the Oles 11-7 and had 10 corner kicks to St. Olaf's two, but failed to score as Harry Ullmann made five saves in the win.
