Women's cross country moves up in regional rankings

NEW ORLEANS - The St. Olaf women's cross country team was ranked second in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III regional poll, two places higher than preseason ranking.
St. Olaf's win at Grinnell College's Les Duke Invitational last weekend moved the Oles ahead of Wartburg, which finished fourth in the meet, and Luther. Nebraska Wesleyan is the top ranked team in the Central Region.
The Oles host the St. Olaf Invitational on Saturday.
