Volleyball tipped by BU

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Bethel University outlasted St. Olaf 25-22, 25-20, 22-25 and 25-17 in a MIAC volleyball match on Wednesday night at Skoglund Center.

Nicole Wriedt had 14 kills and Caitie Helle 10 to lead Bethel (8-3, 1-0 MIAC), which held St. Olaf under .100 in hitting in the first two sets.

St. Olaf (4-5, 0-1 MIAC) hit .314 in the third set on the way to its only set victory of the night. Ari Carlson had 14 kills and Katie Wolfram 13 for the Oles in the loss.
