Women now lead region in USTFCCA ranking

NEW ORLEANS - The St. Olaf women's cross country team, after winning their 16-team home invitational, moved up another spot on Tuesday to No. 1 in this week's region ranking.

The Oles moved ahead of No. 2 Nebraska Wesleyan, which finished third at the Woody Greeno Invitational in Lincoln, Neb.

St. Olaf finished fourth in the Central Regional in 2010, earning a bid to the NCAA DIII Championships.

After a week off, the Oles will head to Chicago for the Loyola Lakefront Invitational.
