Christoffel's pair of late goals lead Oles past Pipers

NORTHFIELD, Minn.- Catie Christoffel scored two goals in a five minute span late in the game, as the St. Olaf women's soccer team defeated Hamline 2-0 Tuesday afternoon at Rolf Mellby Field.
The senior forward broke a 0-0 deadlock in the 76th minute, as she scored off a feed from defender Susie Jelinek.
In the 80th minute, Christoffel doubled her tally with her fourth goal of the year. Her second goal was assisted by Lindsay Howard.
The Oles outshot Hamline 12-3, including 7-0 in the second half. Christoffel had four shots on goal to lead St. Olaf, while Heather Hollinger had two of the Pipers' three shots on goal. St. Olaf also held a 11-5 advantage in corner kicks.
Nora Forbes picked up the win in goal for St. Olaf, making three saves. Hamline goalie Erin Urbanowicz made six saves despite taking the loss.
The win was the Oles fourth in a row to start MIAC play and extends their unbeaten start to the season to nine games (8-0-1). St. Olaf has outscored its' opponents 24-3. Hamline falls to 6-2-1, 1-2-1 in the MIAC.
