Volleyball makes it two in a row with win at SMU

WINONA, Minn. - Ari Carlson had 15 kills and Kristin Boyum 22 digs as St. Olaf won its second straight with a four-set MIAC volleyball win at Saint Mary's University on Wednesday night.

Justin Dammermann added 42 set assists in the victory for the Oles (8-7, 2-2 MIAC), while Kara Grant led Saint Mary's with 18 kills and 10 digs.

St. Olaf came back from a 25-24 deficit in the opening set to win 29-27. The Oles broke a 27-27 tie with a kill from Carlson followed by an ace by Boyum.

Saint Mary's took the second set 27-25 before the Oles coasted to 25-19 and 25-16 victories to secure the match.

St. Olaf plays in the Wartburg Invitational this weekend in Waverly, Iowa.
