Volleyball splits first two of latest Wartburg Tourney

WAVERLY, Iowa - The St. Olaf volleyball team lost a four-set match to Cornell College before defeating UW-La Crosse to close the first of two days at the Wartburg College Invitational.

Cornell held off St. Olaf for a 29-27 win in the first set on the way to the victory. The Oles' Katie Wolfram had 18 kills while the Rams' Kathleen O'Conner had 15.

Cornell broke a 9-9 tie in the decisive third set with an 8-0 run and never turned back.
