ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Olaf junior quarterback Dan Dobson was named the MIAC's offensive player of the week after going 18-for-30 for 335 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for two more, as he led St. Olaf to a 30-28 come-from-behind victory over fifth-ranked Bethel University on Saturday.

Dobson's one-yard TD plunge with 25 seconds left in the game completed the Oles' comeback. St. Olaf (4-1, 2-1 MIAC) trailed 28-10 early in the fourth quarter before Dobson engineered three straight scoring drives to give the Oles their first win at Bethel since 1992.

He went 10-of-13 for 188 yards in the fourth quarter, including an 82-yard TD strike to Jake Schmiesing that brought St. Olaf within five. He then hit four different receivers on the final drive in taking the team 65 yards on 10 plays, in a span of 2:43.

For the season, Dobson has thrown for 1,281 yards and 11 touchdowns against only four interceptions. In 15 career games, he has over 3,300 career passing yards -- which ranks sixth all-time at St. Olaf -- and 35 career touchdown passes which is fourth in school history.

St. Olaf enters its bye week. The Oles play host to Carleton College on October 15.
