Volleyball falls in three to No. 10 Cobbers

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - No. 10 Concordia College-Moorhead defeated the St. Olaf volleyball team in straight sets -- 25-21, 25-16, 25-19 -- on Friday night at Skoglund Center.

The Oles (10-10, 2-3 MIAC) were led by Melissa Burch's 12 kills while Concordia was paced by Jenna Green, who had 15 kills and hit .438.

St. Olaf battled from a 7-1 deficit in the first set and was within a point, at 17-16, before the Cobbers went on a 5-1 rally to extend the advantage.

St. Olaf plays host to the College of Saint Benedict on Saturday at 3 p.m.
