Ole men make it five straight with big second half

MOORHEAD, Minn. - St. Olaf scored three unanswered second half goals in a 4-1 MIAC men's soccer win over host Concordia College-Moorhead on Tuesday afternoon, sparked by Kenzie Lund's two goals and assist.
The win is the fifth in a row for St. Olaf (13-2-1, 6-1-1 MIAC), which shares the MIAC points lead with Carleton (6-0-1 MIAC) and Gustavus (6-1-1 MIAC).
Lund tallied the game-winner just 12 seconds into the second half, unassisted, as the Oles broke a 1-1 tie and never turned back. Lund had the second assist on Ryan Johnsrud's score at 58:31 (David Rosenthal had the other) and then put the game away with his second goal in the 74th minute.
Nick Lund gave the Oles a 1-0 lead on his score, from Blake Dressen, in the 24th minute. Nick Lund added an assist on the final tally of the game on brother Kenzie's score.
Jared Rice had Concordia's goal, at 26:27 to tie the game at 1-1. The Cobbers managed just three shots while St. Olaf had 20 in the win.
St. Olaf plays host to Bethel University next Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. before finishing the regular season with a home match against Carleon on Oct. 29.
