Auggies defeat volleyball team in three

MINNEAPOLIS - Augsburg College swept St. Olaf 27-25, 25-15 and 25-23 in a MIAC volleyball match on Friday night at Si Melby Hall.

Colleen Ourada had 13 kills and Micha Sater 10 for the Auggies, who clinched at least a tie for an MIAC playoffs berth with the win.

Kristin Boyum had 17 digs to lead the Oles (10-14, 2-7 MIAC), who were eliminated from postseason contention with the loss. St. Olaf plays a non-league game at Northwestern College on Tuesday before playing an MIAC match at Macalester on Wednesday. The Oles close the season next Saturday with a home league match against Carleton College.
